Chief Investment Office (CIO) - GP Role

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead investment strategy, capital deployment, and portfolio management for our early-stage real estate investment fund. As a General Partner (GP), the CIO will drive deal sourcing, own operations, and asset optimization to maximize returns.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Execution: Develop and oversee the company’s investment thesis, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.

Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize a diversified portfolio of assets, including [e.g., real estate, private credit, or other related asset classes].

Capital Allocation: Contribute towards driving capital allocation decisions to maximize returns while balancing risk exposure.

Fundraising & Investor Relations: Engage with institutional and private investors, build strong relationships, and secure capital commitments.

Underwriting, Due Diligence & Risk Management: Evaluate investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead negotiations for key investments, partnerships, and joint ventures.

Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends emerging investment opportunities.

Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with the general partner to ensure financial and operational alignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in investment management, private equity, real estate investments.

Strong track record in portfolio management, capital raising, and deal structuring.

Deep understanding of financial modeling, underwriting, risk analysis, and due diligence.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage investors and stakeholders.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

University education, CFA a plus.
